'All commercial premises where you have operational control of air conditioning systems with a cumulative effective rated output of greater than 250kW will require an energy assessment report for the system by 4th January 2009.

If you have operational control of air conditioning systems with a cumulative effective rated output of greater than 12kW you must be in possession of an air conditioning assessment report for the system by 4th January 2011.

Air conditioning systems first put into service on or after 1st January 2008 must have their first inspection completed within 5 years of the original date they were first put into service. '
